Message from the Headteacher
Dear Parents/Carers,
So it's that time of year that we start to think about plans for September. We will be sending out a letter next week with information about which class your child will be in next year. In the meantime, I would like to share with you our transition plans for the final part of our year. These activities will help children to have a smooth move into their next class and build relationships with their new teachers at this school and St Benedict's Junior School.

In addition to these activities, Mr Ranger will also be visiting the Year 2 children for a Q&A session and Year 2 families will also be invited for a Parent information session at St Benedict's session. Details of these dates are to follow.
Finally, children who have been identified as needing enhanced transition will have extra activities to support their wellbeing. Your class teacher will inform you of these activities.
Teachers within the school and across the schools will meet regularly to handover assessments and notes about the classes.
Please remind your children of these activities so they feel prepared for the change.
Thank you for your support,
Kerry Devane
