Message from the Headteacher
What a wonderful day we had in Lyme Regis on Tuesday. Thank you to all the staff and parents who made this possible. It truly was a magical experience to have our whole school paddling on the beautiful shore line of Lyme Regis. The children made me feel so proud, they were super sensible despite being very, very excited. We are very lucky to have this wonderful opportunity. A huge thank you to Mrs Hopkins, who arranged for us to have the use of the powerboat club house for the day, and for Year 2 to attend a workshop at the lifeboat station.
We are really excited to announce that one of our parents, Faye, will be completing a Triathlon to raise funds for our school pool. Faye has been training for over 6 months for the Slateman Olympic distance Triathlon in Snowdonia on June 11th this year. She will swim 1500m in the Llanberis mountain lake, then cycle 53 km along and around the mountain roads with over 700m of uphill riding, then run 11 km up the Llanberis Slate mine with more than 400m of uphill running. This will take 4-5 hours. Please follow this link to see how you can sponsor Faye and support her on her mission to keep our pool running.

We are so lucky to have parents and members of the community who really care about the school and support us in any way they can. With the fair coming up have a look at home if there is anything you could contribute, or maybe you could run a stall on the day. Every little bit helps!
Finally, I hope you all have a restful half-term and get a chance to sit in the sunshine.
Have a great weekend,
Kerry Devane
